Here is my poor attempt at photography for this month. I try to bond with my camera once a week - but work, school and family is taking up 98% of my life at the moment - so once a month will do for now. Chocolate stuffed Easter Eggs Behind my house, there is a private beach, which is ruined by rubbish swept over by the previous flood/rain trees in my front yard I took this photo because my son thinks, that log is Dinosaur 'LONG NECK'

Happy Easter

Master Tai's masterpiece..hehe So today at Church, one lady asked a question : "What does easter eggs and hunts have to do with Jesus dying on the cross and rising on the third day?" There's alot of explanations out there. What's yours? Manuia le Eseta !!!

Be aware!!

Last year, I knew of 3 women who had their babies taken from them from either accidents or really bad health conditions. Just last week, another woman I crossed paths with during College days lost her 21month old child from an accident as well. This makes me so scared, so sad and very paranoid. (like I'm not paranoid enough) Please read this and make sure you NEVER do the same. Be cautious and always make sure the lid of your washer is tightly closed before stepping away from the machine. Starting over :)

Lately, I get this strong feeling like…like...like, I ‘need’ to start all over again. No definitely NOT all of it - just this year! I need to start this year all over again. Maybe it has something to do with our time back home (Samoa) or maybe it’s all this shifting places we’ve been doing for the last month or maybe it's the change in scenery or maybe its a realisation after recent events. I don’t know what it is, BUT, one thing is for sure and that is, operation ‘ starting over’ needed to take off ASAP.   My ultimate goal at the end of it all is – A better ME!   I want to be a better mother, a better wife, a better daughter, a better sister, a better friend, a better boss, a better student ,   a better listener and for goodness sakes LIVE BETTER!! I feel like I haven’t been doing anything worthwhile since 2012 started and I’d like to make sure I’m making good use of my time from here on out instead of wasting it on worthless/meaningless th...

first time 'les mills body pump-errrr'

No, I don't live under a rock but I can assure you that I've never heard of 'Les Mills' before. Apparently, it's the NZ/Aust version of BeachBody in the US of A. Anyways, straight to the point here. Les Mills rock my socks. Literally!! my legs were shaking and at some point, I felt like these legs of mine couldn't hold me up any longer (fatty much?) I'm sitting here typing away at the laptop and I'm still sore. My arms hurt, my legs are still shaking and I think the Bodypump today dislocated my ass  But for some strange reason, I'm loving it. I'm loving the burn For a while now, (and i think if you're a follower of this blog, you can attest that) I've been attempting and failing miserably to lose the extra pounds and get fit/healthy. I always seem to fall off a the bandwagon after two weeks, for two reasons; 1- no motivation aka lazy 2- hectic work/family schedule So here I am trying again. And this time, I'm determi...

I love photography! There's just something about snapping away with that camera that makes me a very happy camper. So while I was back home the past couple of months, I got ' camera happy ' that I almost filled my laptop memory with nothing but photos. Random photos. mostly of the beach, trees, flowers, animals anything and everything. My hubby looks at the photos and goes, " WTH? " anyways, just thought I'd post some of these ' camera happy snappies' pic1: Jane's Beach Fales - Manase pic2: pink flower @ To Sua grounds pic 1&2: Vailima, sandals, bar @ Jane's Beach fales pic2: jumping @ TO SUA pic 1: Mulifanua wharf pic 2: Master Tai @ Aquatic Center - Samoa  pic3: To SUA Cave And that is all for tonight. I'll load some more later..or NOT..good nite bloggers

Update

Image
Yes, coz I'm so lame at updating this blog. So we're back in Hawaii-it's been pretty cold lately (as in 2 blankets at night kinda cold) unusual but oh well! Our first stop when we got in last Friday was Kaiser Permanente hospital to take the boys in for check ups. Master Tai was fine-he had the normal hand-foot-mouth virus BUT, poor master Taui on the other hand wasn't too good. He had a chest infection that worsened and affected one of his lungs. Good thing we came back when we did or else the infection would grow on the other lung. Thankfully, after a week of tests and treatments, baby is looking well and definitely improving. He's getting his appetite back, he's breathing normally, he's playing, he's bullying his big brother and slowly getting back to his happy chappy self again. Viia le Alii. He is still under observations and has follow ups for the next couple of weeks to make sure he is fully recovered and his lung and chest clear up. I am ...
