Faafetai alofa mai

Wednesday night, my brother in law arrived from Aotearoa, NZ with a cooler full of meat pies for me ONLY from my dearest brother. Thanks bro for the Steak and Cheese meat pies, the NZ ketchup and the Sampler (assorted cookies). You really know how to pick out my food aye..hehe I promise I will send you as many Dickies shorts I can afford (which will probably be only 3pairs or something..lol) But thanks for the goodies. Now I have all my NZ cravings and NOT willing to share with ANYONE. Also, Thanks mom & dad for the kekepuaa's and taro chips. kekepuaas gave me a real bad heartburn but I enjoyed it anyways..hehehe I can so feel the luv from here Miss you guys and luv you all heaps

Only in Samundah

So I was getting my daily dose of TalaFou from home on Samoa Observer and came across a funny, well actually, ridiculous excuse of a 2day holiday, that my beloved gountry will have sometime in July..lol Check it out for yourself by clicking on the link above coz I ain't gonna paste the whole thing on here. Uncle Stui is driving everyone insane. What an absolute joke of a prime minister. Is he really doing it for Samoa and its people or doing it for himself? (well dats a stupid question coz the answer is obvious) Common now, changing the lanes because more Samoan's have relatives in NZ???? puuuhhhleeezzeee..you gotta be shittin' me. I can already see the many many road accidents and people dying from this stupid change. eh..I'll just get back to painting my toe nails..can't be arsed wit this crap...

BITCHOLOGY

Image
FINALLY - Someone is bitchy enough to say it like it REALLY is! BITCHOLOGY When I stand up for myself and my beliefs, they call me a bitch. When I stand up for those I love, they call me a bitch. When I speak my mind, think my own thoughts or do things my own way, they call me a bitch. Being a bitch means I won't compromise what's in my heart. It means I live my life MY way. It means I won't allow anyone to step on me. When I refuse to tolerate injustice and speak against it, I am defined as a bitch. The same thing happens when I take time for myself instead of being everyone's maid, or when I act a little selfish.. It means I have the courage and strength to allow myself to be who I truly am and won't become anyone else's idea of what they think I 'should' be. I am outspoken, opinionated and determined. I want what I want and there is nothing wrong with that! So try to stomp on me, just try to douse my inner flame, try to squash every ounce of b...

It HURTS like a *****

SO I had what the doctor called " A heartburn gone bad " on Monday evening. I honestly thought I was dying. SERIOUSLY :-( There was this sharp pain on the left side of my chest and it started spreading out to the middle and next you know, my back side parallel to the chest pain was hurting even WORSE. 5minutes later, my whole left arm couldn't move. Then the left side of my neck went numb, causing my mouth to NOT move. So when they asked me a question I just stared at them nodding YES or NO. S was being his transporter self to try and get me to the Kaiser ER (located in Moanalua an hour away from our house) as soon as possible. The Kahuku ER 5minutes from our house is so useless. WE always have to wait EONs for the damn doctor to come see me. So we'd rather go to Kaiser, which is my Insurance anyways. So, got to the ER, and the nurse started hooking all these different wires and whatnot onto my body. I had a male nurse and the idiot took forever hooking/putting on ta...

Interesting Remix

Sacrament meeting was near end. Our bishop stood up to give his closing remarks before everyone spreads out to different classes for the second hour. Bishop asked that the whole congregation please stand and sing "Call to Serve", for/to Elder Maua'i, who will be leaving us next week for the MTC and then to THailand for a 2year church mission. Bishop specifically said to sing in English The piano started, then the chorister stood up ready to conduct the song. Chorister, an old samoan lady, sings the song in samoan loudly so the whole half of the congregation in the front, (who may I add, had already started out the song in english) sang the second line in samoan continuing on. Meanwhile, the half towards the back of the chapel, were all singing so loudly in English, and Sam and I were stuck in the middle, confused as to which language we were gonna sing with. So we decided to keep standing, and listen to the samoan/english remix going on. It was quite an interesting and fu...

36D DRAMA QUEEN

Image
This past weekend, I was on a mission to find the perfect bra. Frankly, ALL of my frickin' Victoria Secrets bras that I spent hundreds on in Vegas, DO NOT fit anymore, meaning the girls are uncomfortable making me shifty/itchy all the time, and that is no fun at all. So anyways, what started out as an exciting day, ended up being the most frustrating wearisome shopping experience I’ve ever had in my life. Oh yeah, did I mention that I went up a cup? Yup, pretty tiring stuff. So you can imagine my disappointment when I had to go through all the damn bra racks and could not find my new size or anything that tickles my fancy. Some women get excited when the girls get bigger, I DON’T. I like ‘em just how they are. So after 4stores and 5hours later, we came out with only 1 36D size bra that I actually liked, and its in pink too*winks*. Are we in a 36D drought? or is everyone in Hawaii a 36D? Either that, or 36Ds are just out of the market, coz there was hardly anything in 36D or noth...
