It's THANKSGIVING....

Image
As people rush from Halloween to Christmas, I think the signifigance of Thanksgiving often gets overlooked. To me, it is one of the best all around holidays. That is partly because it is not commercialized and it also gets me thinking about myself and my life. If you haven't already, I encourage you to put some thought into what you are thankful for. I know I am thankful for so many things, but here are only a few of them; I am thankful for my patient, loving, caring MOTHER , who's been here since August to help out with baby. Thank you for extending your stay 3months longer. Thank you for caring for my baby boy and allowing me to pursue my career. Thank you for sacrificing your time with your other children and Dad so you can help us out. Thank you for having so much patience and staying calm when I'm ready to explode. Thank you for the many great examples you have been in my life and Tai's life. You truly are the best NANA ever. I am thankful for my DAD . Thank you...

midnight nonsense

As I sit here eating two ham and cheese sandwiches because I just finished pumping milk for my 2month old child, I think about all the things that I have been through this past couple of months. YES, because this is my BLOG and it's all about me so if you're not interested; please don't hit your head on your way OUT. First of, I now truly believe why women are the backbone and the forefront of the home/family. I have experienced it first hand these past months. I don't mean to complain or whine; (oh wait, I am whining and I CAN whine so let me be) but I've been feeling pretty stressed as of late. I feel like both the man and the woman in the family. I feel like I'm contributing way more than the baby daddy and I just want to slap him across the face for not contributing more. (but then again, that may just be my dramaqueen self talking) I feel like I'm NOT doing enough for my child and it kills me to know that I can do more/better. I feel like a mad woman ru...

HOPE is not lost after all :-)

hehehehe A few posts ago, I was complaining about how my shoes didn't fit, and how some people told me they weren't going to fit anymore. Thanks to the wise words of a couple of cyberspace mommas, I kept my whole box in storage and never threw out any from a closet full. So this post, is just to record that today, Nov 21st 2009, my once fat, swollen, ugly cow feet, can now fit back into my favorite blue jean open toe heels, along with all my other shoes. Hope is indeed not lost after all for the shoe box.. Thank you very big to myself for being patient, and not spending money I don't have on new shoes.. so yeah, that is my post for tonite :-) good nite and good riddens all
