someone shoot me....

10.30pm on a Saturday night and I'm BORED out of my brains..no joke. Finally a DAYCARE I LOVE.... After much looking and thinking and budgeting, i finally found the perfect daycare. YAY ME:) I got off work at 3.30pm, picked up my sister in law and her kids and one cuzzin in law (yes so many outlaws) and headed straight to Kaneohe (abt 30mins from my house) to meet with Tai's future daycare motherhen; and OH-EM-GEE! !! I frickin' HELL LOVE HER already. From the entrance to the backyard, I was amazed at how well organized and how CLEAN everything was. (something the last daycare never had) She has a board, with structured activities for the kids each day, a themed calendar with the kids birthdays already written in, toys stacked nicely and marked properly as to which goes where etc. A clean and safe backyard with a wooden 5ft fence surrouding so the kids can run wild and not be out of sight. There is a kitchen and lanai for the daycare, separate from her OWN kitchen an...

what is up with these stupid power outages?

take today for example-power went out at 11:30am and didn't come back on til 2.30pm. Then it went OFF again an hour later for another two hours. We should've just stayed home today and not go to work. Did I mention that we've been TV-less for about almost 2weeks now? Yes, thanks to all these power outages left and right, our TV died out on us. Great just gurrreeaaatttt... And today, our computer decided to cave because of this power blinking on and off. So now we're computer-less and TV-less. Life is just GRAND...GRAND i tell ya. It seems like a regular thing now. Power goes off and on at least 1 day a week. Either someone's ran into an electric pole, or the power grid is having problems. These darn people need to learn that DRUNK DRIVING is a NO NO and those darn HECO electricians need to do at least once a month checkups on all the power grids on island.... blardy hell... So before I go all haywired and spread my negative energy all over this blog, I...

ramblings from kuaback

WORK Call me a weirdo, party pooper or whatever you like for having mixed feeling and NOT doing a dance when I got a promotion at work on Monday. Was it insanely selfish of me that I never called anyone including my hubby to share the good news? Or say "thank you" to my boss for this great opportunity? Shockingly, I had some weird mixed feelings. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy I got the promo meaning pay raise (YAY), much better benefits and new skills to be sucked off them superiors brains. BUT, I was also kinda sad at the thought of the workload I'm inheriting along with 5employees to keep track of. That will definitely get in the way of this degree I'm trying to get done with. I might as well place this Masters under the 10yr plan category. I was also thinking of the baby to come. Before I got the news at work, I've been thinking of going Part time. Since I'll have two little souls to cater to and these darn daycares are just too ridicu...

Ended 2010 with a BIG BANG..

Yup, we sure did. December kind of flew by fast. Don’t know if it was because I was too busy having too much fun with work or the month just went by pretty quick.   4days before xmas, hubby dear surprised me with a ticket to Samoa for my family reunion. WE had planned to miss this year due to too much going on, and because I’m planning to take my kids to DisneyWORLD next year and spend all our life savings there with Mickey, Minnie and the gang. Hehehehe. The ticket sure lifted my spirits, so I ditched work the next two days so I can prep for my trip. Einjo, gotta shop for the fanauga a isaraelu. aueeee 2days before we left for Samoa, I got a car as a wedding anniversary. Hhhmmmm..Was I really a good girl in 2010????  NO, I was an EXCELLENT keo!!! Bhahahahaha..sshhh..aua le pisa. A brand new SUV-Chevy Traverse 2009-automatic, 3seater and the works. LOVE LOVE LOVED IT. I was getting tired of the shift gear truck anyways.. Anyways,Samoa was GREAT. SHORT & SWEET. Fam...
