Very Random
An odd guy walks into the Branch talking on his phone to who seemed to me as his other half/girlfriend/wife all of the above. He told me he wanted to open an account. I said “ok” and directed him to my desk to get comfortable before I started the process. I asked for his ID and he reached into his pocket for his wallet to grab the ID out, all at the same time trying to hold the phone in between his left ear and his left shoulder. First things first, when you’re in a bank opening an account, GET OFF THE DAMN PHONE . It makes things so much easier for people like me to get on with the account opening, when the customer is not blah blah-ring on to whoever’s on the other end of the line. It’s just irritating because, -1st, they’re probably giving me the wrong information then have to go through the whole damn process all over again when they realize they gave the wrong st. address/phone #/SSN#; -2nd, they’re dragging the process, - 3rd, they’re wasting my time and - 4th it’s just plain RU...
