the ways of the kuabacks

This is for one kuaback in particular, my son, the ever so smart, funny, kaukalaso'o being that is Tautai. For the past 2 weeks, he's been living it up in the kuabacks with his grandparents feeding the pigs, the chickens, picking up the rubbish and helping Nana with her garden. Papa and the boys have been busy making furniture for my bro who will be entering the gates of Malua Theological College in two days. When the kamuka finished the bed, Tai jumped on and declared the thing 'his truck' and would make zooming noises when he's on it pretending to drive the thing to pick me up from work. the 'pusa' was done and he declared that 'his bus' the dressing table was 'his taxi' and the study table was 'his bulldozer' Before he goes to bed, he'll do an inspection of his 'new' toys, says goodbye to each one and then blesses them in his bedtime prayer. need to update

I committed myself to a post every week for this blog since my last post. Almost a month later, I realize that I haven't posted jack and the poor blog was looking a bit uuummmm neglected???? eh aueeee!!! So here's my joke attempt for an update. I'm enjoying hanging with my girls when we can. Gossiping, dancing, movie nights, beach trips and a looming sleepover..auee..So yes, I'm a tad bit spoilt, but hey, it's only for the next couple of weeks. Also in the news tonight, I...

I really do hope you all celebrated in style with your loved ones and had a blast doing so. -- So apart from Samoa skipping a day and hopping over the other side of the date line, everything has been pretty relaxed on my side of the island. Didn't do anything fancy to welcome 2012 other than lounging around with the fam feasting on sweets and more sweets while watching a Hawaii 5-0 marathon. bliss...ha! 2011 was a great year. We welcomed a new member of our family, accomplished a lot in our careers, made new great friends, got rid of those who don't matter, got to see alot of our families during the year, did a few exciting things, and learnt alot from all of 2011 experiences. Thank you 2011, you've been a fun rollercoaster ride. Now, I welcome 2012 with open arms hoping to learn alot from all the experiences it brings. I decided NOT to set any New Year's resolutions mainly because I always get disappointed when the year co...
