Should I be a "stay at home mom"?

This is the question that keeps burning in my head since we landed. It doesn't help that the hubby keeps burning my ears with the same question since I got here. Gosh, give me a break! We don't trust our kids at daycare for too many reasons than I care to mention. So for the time being, let me ponder over this question and hopefully we can come to an arrangement soon . Gosh, why did I have to grow up? I hate making decisions !!!!!!

Mileage claiming whore

Air Pacific is giving me a hard time when claiming my miles. I spent the whole Monday TRYING to claim our miles, BUT the darn thing kept giving me an error message for some reason or it just wont let me claim at all. I took a break from Air Pacific to claim my Delta and Hawaiian Air miles All were done with no hassle at all April is coming up and it'll be a traveling month for me and my boys. It'll literally save us about $3000 or more. So you know why I'm kung-ho about getting these damn miles in Blame my procrastination self for leaving it to the last minute...aueeeee! Anyways, I was on the phone with a certain customer care agent for Air Pacific in Fiji for over an hour. She couldn't help me and I wouldn't let her get off the phone until I got my miles She was getting frustrated. I was getting furious. And at some point of the conversation, she put me on hold and all of sudden, I hear someone in the background say " an angry mileage claiming...

He still got it

It's Valentines day! Where the theme of the day is usually RED, when the flower isles at the stores are buzzing with those poor bastards getting last minute flowers and chocolates because they totally forgot about this commercial day, when the women are usually expecting flowers and chocs and teddy bears and what not with breakfast in bed, where restaurants are busy with candlelit dinner reservations, and when those poor sods who forgot about Valentine's day are getting the 'silent treatment' for the rest of the week. HA! I'm NOT a big fan of this day (liar) but I do like it when I get something from the hubby because then I know, he's not a lost cause after all when it comes to romantics. choohooo So on our first Valentines apart from each other, I got an embarassing display of red roses delivered to my desk at work with a huge heart shaped chocolate bar and a card ( with some ugly handwriting.) hhhmmmmm..I feel spethialllll chhooohooohooo Happy Valenti...

Our vacation cut SHORT

We moved to Samoa 3months ago to stay for 6months. We were doing some major bonding time with the family, expose my children to the ways of the 'kuabackers', sibling arguments, Mama's voice ringing in our ears every day and the usual 'vi' & 'mango' party under the vi and mango trees. Unfortunately, our 6months stay's been cut short to 3months. Thanks to some incompetent doctors, we are now on the first flight out to seek medical help for my darling Tauilagi. On the 1st week of December, baby was coming down with a bad cough and runny nose. I had been calling to make an appointment with the supposedly best pediatrician on island, Dr Adam, only to find out that he was on vacation for 3weeks. Guuuuureat, it'll be christmas when he returns so good luck trying to get him at the hospital. So baby's first doctor's visit on island was with Dr. Aisoli at the old Chan Mow building next to Lotemau. He listened to baby's chest and immediat...
