Keep Hawaii's Heroes - sign the petition

I've been living in the Hawaii for the past 11 years and have come to love and care a lot for this State. I'm a big advocate for economic innovation and just about anything that boost economy or shaping it for a better future for my 10 children and their children etc. Hawai‘i plays an important strategic role for the US armed services, and the US military presence in our state contributes enormously to our economy.  It is the second largest contributor (behind tourism) to our economic well-being.   Beyond the direct impact, the presence of the military also contributes to the growth of other segments of our economy, including the research and technology innovation sectors.  A large number of companies have been started or set up shop in our state as direct result of research programs funded by the federal government and Department of Defense.   That means jobs … and a diversity of jobs that might otherwise not be available in our state.  T...

Resolutions are so last year..hehehe

As the calendar ticked over to 2015, I scrolled through my notebook and found my notes when the clock hit 12am January 1st 2014- Resolutions that uuuuuummmmm......were never accomplished. (shullup) Like my 12million attempts to lose weight - epic FAIL Budget - that is non-existent when you're a dutiful daughter of a Samoan chief who thinks the village problems is his own - FAIL BAD Nonetheless, 2014 was an accomplished year if I say so myself. I believe I have improved my skills and craft and have laid the foundation to perform at an even higher level in the future. I am very optimistic about what's to come this year and all the possibilities and opportunities the future holds.  And on that note, I ain't making no more resolutions for this year or the years to come, instead, I will have a theme to live by and base everything that I do.  I figured this would be wayyyy easier than jotting down resolutions that I never achieve anyway..hehe Theme fo...
