Back in April, we went on a mini family reunion vacation with the man's family. We flew into LA, drove to Anaheim, where we stayed for 3days right across from Disneyland, where we spent all three days and all our money..hehe. Then we flew into Salt Lake City, Utah for hubby's sister's graduation from Ruben Clark's Law School and ended the vacation in Sin City where we broke our wallets/purses some more. oi aueeee!!! BUT, this post is not about the trip, this post is about my favorite place during this trip. This favorite place of mine is called 'This is the Place Heritage Park" and is located in UTAH. Today was one of those busy days I hate with every molecule in my body. Everyone was annoying, my kids, my co workers, my clients, my husband and just about everyone I crossed paths with today. I think the lack of sleep may just be catching up with me YIKES!!!!! Everyday I seem to be following a schedule. I don't set a schedule; I guess it's just a trend I've been following every single frickin' day- eh what the heck, let's just call it my typical schedule. Do here's my typical schedule on a good day. 5:30am - Master Taui is up and pulling at my hair - wake up mommy 6am- Tai wakes up and demands breakfast 6-7am- make breakfast, eat breakfast get the boys ready 7-8am- playtime with my boys before dropping them off to the babysitter 8-9am: clean up breakfast, put a load in the washer, shower get ready for work 9:30-7:30: work 7:30-8:30pm- shower kids and feed them dinner 8:30-9:30pm: Zumba or run at the bike path 9:45-10:15pm: bedtime stories, prayer...

Tonight is the first night my Tai man said his prayer on his own. All by himself without any help from me. And before he said his prayer, he specifically told me what to do -  " Mommy, I want to say my own prayer, you don't help me. Just leave me alone" He got on his knees beside his bed, and here goes his prayer, "Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for my TV, thank you for MickeyMouse, thank you for Spiderman, thank you for IronMan, thank you for the Robot, thank you for my Spiderman shoes, thanks for my mommy, thanks for my daddy and my brother, thanks for my food, please send me my sister - in the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN" This kid cracks me up. He always says the darnest things and sometimes act like the adult and treat everyone else as kids. When Taui is crying because he's tired, he'll say something like " mommy, get out, i try to put baby to sleep " while getting on the bed with Taui's bottle so he can feed him. or When Taui...

I reactivated my facebook for the sole purpose of prying on photos from those back home of the Independece celebrations-looking at the photos wishing I was home for this very special occasion. (where is that money tree when you need one). Thank you to those who posted and are still posting photos of the celebrations and thank you technology for allowing everyone to share these priceless pictures. Memories to treasure and be told! Some of my favorite memories of independence was in 1998 because that was the very first year I marched @ Mulinuu, and marching with my dad, brother, cousins, uncles and aunties was the best. I remember all of us cousins had a sleepover and it was hardly a sleepover as we never slept. We spent the night ironing our uniforms, making 'ula mosoois, talking story and braiding hair. hahahaha..yup..I'm here again! And NO, Facebook didn't BAN me, I banned facebook from my life, hopefully for a long long time So my first day back at school started and I noticed that I always end up on facebook to avoid my readings. WTH? So I decided at some odd hour on early Saturday morning (while camping on fB) "Shit! I don't need this krap, it's not helping me it's only making me a procrastinating heffer, which is why I am still trying to finish my MBA" You see, it should've been done in April last year, instead, I procrastinated and procrastinated (on FB mostly), then I got lazy and was falling off the educational wagon fast and HARD! With a good kick on my behind, I'm back to finish this sucker once and for all, WITHOUT FACEBOOK! Thank you, don't come again ..hehehe
