Take a moment

It's my day off from work. And I'm taking time out for myself, discovering beauty in the simplest things. Too often we get caught up in life and it's havoc! Take time out, be selfish and make you happy. Take care of you. Do YOU! Happy weekend friends

pre-school drama!!!

It's been 2 months since my last blog. Not that anything I write on here makes any sense at all…but it just annoys me at how I commit myself to blog every week (just for some ME-time) and then 2 months later…..I still never update anything from when I promised to write often. Aue! So today's post is about my son's pre-school experience. It's been a year now since we moved to Kaneohe, and its been a year of complaints from my son about his teachers…one in particular. The first time he complained, I didn't make a big fuss and didn't really pay him any mind at all because I thought; 1. He's trying to adjust to a new environment 2. he misses his friends and teachers from his previous school 3. give him time, he will adjust and he will LOVE IT. 4. Maybe he's just dramatic 4 months later - my son complains again "My teacher always yells at me! Kids are so mean to me! My teacher always tells me to stop and sit down and puts me on time-out. I'm a gladiator! Einkoleek

Today was not one of my best days!  It was one of those days where I 'almost' (yet again) picked up the phone and called my boss to tell him (again) that I'm DONE and I quit!  I'm such a drama queen I know! I've wanted to quit so many times or whenever shit hits the fan ! So tonight as I sat down with my bowl of strawberry ice cream to unwind and watch SCANDAL - Abby said this towards the end of tonight's episode and of course it helped put things back in perspective. " You don't get to run, you're a gladiator, gladiators don't run they fight they slay dragons they wipe off the blood and stitch up their wounds and live to fight another day. You don't get to run!" So yeah, thanks Olivia Pope, I'm NOT running, because I'm a gladiator! Choohooohooo... NEXT!

Supporting Polynesian Voyaging Society Voyage - March 24 to April 19th

There are many things I love about my employer (I just dislike the work I have to do blah) - one of these things is the fact that they give so much back to the community and help out whereever and whenever they can. At American Savins Bank, we are a proud community supporter of the Polynesian Voyaging Society’s Worldwide Voyage or Mālama Honua, which is bringing together organizations and individuals dedicated to the transformation of education and demonstrating the powerful learning that happens when education is community based. From Monday, March 24, 2014 through Saturday, April 19, 2014, our branches will be showcasing images of the Hōkūle‘a.  Additionally, we will be accepting donations for the Mālama Honua .  For each donation $25 or more, American Savings will provide each donor with a complimentary eco-bag displaying the voyage route. ----- "In May of this year, the Hōkūle‘a and sister canoe, Hikianalia, will embark on a 4 year journey around the world to ...

What if....

Have you ever wondered how or what your life would've been like if you went down a different path? Yea, I often think about this - usually when I'm bored, when a certain thought crosses my mind but mainly when I'm bored. hehehe What if I had taken that scholarship to NZ? What if I hadn't come across or learned about the LDS church? What if I hadn't come to BYUH? Where would I be right now? What would I be right now? Sometimes, I picture myself still single, an exotic photographer living in Italy, and I get to travel all over world for work where I meet many interesting characters and experience beautiful places. And then both my kids kick my face in their sleep or  someone knocks on my office door and  I immediately SNAP back to REALITY realizing that I was only DREAMING!! aaahhhhhhhhhhh

Wow!!!!

Someone blardy hell pat me on the back....hehehe All audits done Business plan done 3 coaching sessions done  And I redecorated my office  Yay me!! I feel so accomplished!!!!! Someone buy me a drink already  Choooohooo
