My ass is like jello

Not in a good way!

Yesterday was my first Saturday off from work in yonks.

I had planned NOT to be at home or with the hubby and kids (yes I know, selfish mo'afuggerrr). I wanted to be out and about and never return home until the sun went down. 

So I had this bright idea to go hiking. My palagi sister went with me. 

I've heard from people that it's an "easy peasy do it in your sleep" kinda hike.....
Well, fug you and you easy breezy hike - my ass is like wobbling jello and I can barely lift my feet/legs. 

I admit though, the scenery was beautiful. The clouds, sky, mountains, the ocean and of course the beautiful bodies running up the darn hill as I was huffing and puffing like the unfit heffer that I am.

The view from the top was breathtaking. And it's also the first time this kuabacker has seen an actual lighthouse in real life (not on tv) lol.

Makapu'u Lighthouse trail - took us 40 minutes to get up (I'm sure it only took some people 30mins or less )

It definitely made me realize that there is so much beauty out there that I need to get out and see.

WOW...life must've been really interesting the last 2 years - - So as I try to figure out my life for 2020, let's recount from where we left off in 2017, shall we? hhhmmmmm 2018, let's see. I resigned from the bank because I needed a break. 2 weeks later I started a job at the State Capitol. (What can I say - Never say DIE! lol) I was excited for the opportunity to make a difference and affect change in our local communities. Needless to say, it wasn't what I expected it to be and like anything in government, it was all a bunch of hot air and no action. Action-less promises! The system is severely  BROKEN, the Capitol NEEDs Young Blood, we need educated politicians who actually walk the talk, and OMG the procedures and processes are still stuck in the 90's - and we wonder why nothing gets done in government. Pinterest is my new best friend. Oka! so many nice ideas and random things. I'm usually on there to stalk home decor because I'm a neat freak and a wannabe Martha Stuart like that. Right now, I'm looking for ways to stack children's toys nicely so it doesn't take up much room.
