RAINBOWWEEEEE afternoon

T-man #1 has been accepted into RAINBOW SCHOOL starting his first full day on August 1st. woooteeedeeedoooohooooo!!!!

I felt like dancing up and down the hallways of the movie theaters.

Before we moved to Kaneohe, we didn't talk about moving. It was kind of like a last minute 'ride or die' decision.

We moved to Kaneohe the week we were supposed to leave for Samoa.
So of course, everything was CRAZY...literally!

I had to stop in at all schools in Kaneohe to drop off applications and talk to headmasters all in between moving and work. It was already late to apply for school but I did anyways because there was NO WAY IN HELL we were driving Tai back to his school in Laie everyday.

Thank you lucky stars for always watching over me. Waitlists were crazy and Tai was at number 30 in all 5waitlists. aarrrgggghhhh. My prayers are answered and thank you Lord that Tai won't be staying home this schoo year...bhahahaha

I'm happy! I'm grateful! I'm excited!

My momma was right, everything else will fall into place.

WOW...life must've been really interesting the last 2 years - - So as I try to figure out my life for 2020, let's recount from where we left off in 2017, shall we? hhhmmmmm 2018, let's see. I resigned from the bank because I needed a break. 2 weeks later I started a job at the State Capitol. (What can I say - Never say DIE! lol) I was excited for the opportunity to make a difference and affect change in our local communities. Needless to say, it wasn't what I expected it to be and like anything in government, it was all a bunch of hot air and no action. Action-less promises! The system is severely  BROKEN, the Capitol NEEDs Young Blood, we need educated politicians who actually walk the talk, and OMG the procedures and processes are still stuck in the 90's - and we wonder why nothing gets done in government. Pinterest is my new best friend. Oka! so many nice ideas and random things. I'm usually on there to stalk home decor because I'm a neat freak and a wannabe Martha Stuart like that. Right now, I'm looking for ways to stack children's toys nicely so it doesn't take up much room.
