WOW...life must've been really interesting the last 2 years - - So as I try to figure out my life for 2020, let's recount from where we left off in 2017, shall we? hhhmmmmm 2018, let's see. I resigned from the bank because I needed a break. 2 weeks later I started a job at the State Capitol. (What can I say - Never say DIE! lol) I was excited for the opportunity to make a difference and affect change in our local communities. Needless to say, it wasn't what I expected it to be and like anything in government, it was all a bunch of hot air and no action. Action-less promises! The system is severely BROKEN, the Capitol NEEDs Young Blood, we need educated politicians who actually walk the talk, and OMG the procedures and processes are still stuck in the 90's - and we wonder why nothing gets done in government. Legislative session ended in June and so did my short lived career in politics...hehehe. It was honestly NOT worth the headaches and wrinkles. I quickl...
Pinterest is my new best friend. Oka! so many nice ideas and random things. I'm usually on there to stalk home decor because I'm a neat freak and a wannabe Martha Stuart like that. Right now, I'm looking for ways to stack children's toys nicely so it doesn't take up much room. Lots of creative ways and lots of $$ to get it done too.. auee Anyways, I came across this blogpost while on Pinterest and thought I'd try it out for myself. So for this month, I'll be changing things up a bit. I'll be posting random things about myself (as if I don't talk about myself enough already bleh) And for the two of you who are still reading this, post it up and let's see what you got as well. 1. List 20 random facts about yourself. 2. Describe 3 legitimate fears you have and explain how they became fears. 3. Describe your relationship with your parents. 4. List 10 things you would tell your 16 year-old self, if you could. 5. What are the 5 things that...
Visiting us today is the fabulous Lani Wendt Young; author of the book that had me started on a sleeping disorder, "TELESA:THE COVENANT KEEPER". I'm sure we've all read it, and if you haven't, now is your chance to buy and be absorbed into the world of Leila & Daniel (and Jason *winks*) Only $5.99 for the eBook on AMAZON . Lani's here for an interview that TEAM JASON's been waiting for. YES, an interview with the hot surfer boy/volcanologist himself while he's here checking out the Pipeline competition at Sunset BEACH and of course visiting one of his favorite fans *ahem* ------ We’ve been hearing a lot about Daniel and I thought it was time that we shine the spotlight on another very important person in Leila’s life…her (cough) friend Jason who is here in Hawaii visiting Jen’s Blog. Jason's too shy for a photo so here is his TWIN BROTHER Hi Jason, thanks for taking time from your busy schedule to join us here on Jen’s blog...
